The ship "Horizonts" is a comfortable and pleasant leisure vessel with a capacity of up to 47 passengers. It is suitable both for a relaxing cruise and for convenient travel between Riga and Jurmala by water. On board, you will find everything needed for a comfortable trip - Wi-Fi, various seating options and furniture, open and covered deck areas, a bar, music, a toilet, blankets, a TV, and a friendly crew.
"Horizonts" departs from the Blue Pier - opposite Riga Castle, next to the "Great Kristaps" sculpture. It is a convenient and easy-to-find location from which to start your journey on the water.
The ship operates on two routes. The first is "Riga <> Jurmala" - a daily service in both directions that allows you to travel conveniently from Riga to Jurmala and back in approximately 2.5 hours. It is a pleasant trip without traffic jams, where the city panorama gradually gives way to green riverbanks and the resort atmosphere of Jurmala. Upon request, it is also possible to disembark along the way - shortly before the water park.
The second route is "Jurmala Panorama" - a one-hour cruise along the Lielupe River that allows you to discover Jurmala from a different perspective. Calm green riverbanks, resort architecture, and views that usually remain "behind the scenes" make this trip especially suitable for a relaxing outing, as well as for taking beautiful photos and videos.
Buying tickets is simple and convenient. Tickets can be purchased online by choosing the route, date, time, and number of tickets, and after payment they are automatically sent to your e-mail. There is no need to print anything - simply open the ticket on your phone and show it at the entrance. Secure payments and automatic refunds are provided by Stripe and Bokun.
To make your trip more enjoyable, we recommend arriving at the pier about 30 minutes before departure. Reservations can be cancelled with a full refund no later than 24 hours before departure. If a trip is cancelled due to bad weather, the refund will be processed automatically.
